Do you self-perform or use subcontractors?
We operate a hybrid model. Our core workforce is made up of dedicated, trained EWB service technicians — direct employees performing work under our licenses. For markets where we need additional capacity to maintain response times, we work with a curated network of pre-qualified trade partners, all operating under EWB oversight and quality standards. You always have one point of accountability: EWB.
What states are you licensed in?
We hold direct state licenses in 11 states: California (#439908), Alaska (#129976), Arizona (#193722), Hawaii (#CT-34956), Washington (#601-239-224), Oregon (#64207), Utah (#5609466-5501), Nevada (#55994), Missouri (#F00591590), Idaho (RCE-31312), and Texas (#801076709). Through our ICC F-11 Commercial Contractor certification, we are also authorized to operate in Colorado, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Ohio, Louisiana, Indiana, and Illinois — bringing our total coverage to 20 states.
What are your insurance limits?
We carry $2M per occurrence / $4M aggregate General Liability, $10M Umbrella/Excess, Workers Compensation, and Commercial Auto. We accommodate additional insured endorsements, waiver of subrogation, and custom certificate requirements. Our parent company, Eleven Western Builders, Inc., carries $150M in bonding capacity. Full documentation is available in our Vendor Qualification Package.
How does the Client Portal work?
The EWB Client Portal is a web-based dashboard where you can submit service tickets, receive and approve quotes, track progress in real time (from requested through quoted, approved, in-progress, completed, billed, and paid), review before-and-after photos, and access your full work order history. Portal access is provisioned for all national account clients within 1 business day of agreement execution.
What is the ICC F-11 certification?
The ICC F-11 is a Commercial Contractor certification issued by the International Code Council (ICC) — a nationally recognized authority in building codes and construction standards. The F-11 certification is accepted in several states as authorization to perform commercial construction and facility maintenance work, allowing EWB to extend our coverage into states where we don't hold a direct state license. All work in ICC F-11 states is performed under EWB project oversight and within the defined scope of the certification.
Who is Eleven Western Builders, Inc.?
Eleven Western Builders, Inc. is the parent company of EWB Facility Services — a family-owned commercial general contractor operating since 1983. EWB (the GC) builds and renovates retail, grocery, QSR, and commercial facilities across the western US for clients including Albertsons, CVS, Del Webb, and Goodwill. EWB Facility Services is the ongoing maintenance and emergency response division of that same organization, leveraging 40+ years of commercial construction expertise.
